ט”ו באב מחובר בראש וראשונה להפתעות מתוקות ושוקולדיות. החיבור בין שוקולד לאהבה הוא היסטורי וט”ו באב הוא בין היתר גם חגו של השוקולד.

השוקולד משפר את מצב הרוח, גורם לתחושה נעימה ונחשב גם למתנה הפופולארית ביותר להביע אהבה.

דודו אוטמזגין לקח את ההפתעות והשוקולד צעד אחד קדימה ולכבוד היום המאוהב ביותר בשנה המציא את עוגת הקנידרלנד.
