גַּל שֶׁל הֲמוֹנִים תּוֹעִים בְּאָסוּף עֶרְגוֹן הַלֵּב ,הָרוּחַ, הַנְּשָׁמָה מאת: אוואדיפוֹ אוֹלְגָּה קַיְלֵי
תַּרְגּוּם וַעֲרִיכָה מֵאַנְגְּלִית לְעִבְרִית מאת: אִירִיס כָּלִיף
מִמַּחְצֶבֶת רֵאשִׁית שֹׁרֶשׁ מִזֶּרַע הַתֵּאוֹלוֹגִיּוֹת,
כְּנִיסָה רוֹחֶפֶת רָם מְעוּפָה בְּתוֹכְכֵי שְׂדֵרָה מְרֻחֶקֶת.
בֵּין גַּרְגְּרֵי הַמִּדְבָּר הַנִּבְדָּלִים,
מַפָּץ קַדְמוֹנִי נִשָּׂא בֵּין גְּבָב שְׂרִידִים
גַּן מִמְּקוֹרוֹת אֶרֶץ אָבוֹת עַתִּיק יוֹמִין עַתָּה מִתְפָּרֵק,
עַנְנֵי אָבָק דָּרִים עַל גַּב הַצְּרִיפִים הַמִּשְׁתַּעֲלִים,
מְקוֹרוֹתֵיהֶם מֻגְדָּלִים בְּלַהַט
הַהִלָּה הַנִּכְמֶשֶׁת.
אַיֵּה הָאִימְפֶּרְיוֹת הַכַּבִּירוֹת שֶׁחֻלְּלוּ תִּפְאַרְתָּן בִּזְמַן מִן הַזְּמַנִּים?
אַיֵּה הַנְּבִיאִים שֶׁהִכְרִיזוּ בְּרוּחַ קוֹל אֲדִיקוּת הַלֵּב וְיִחוּל אוֹר הַנְּשָׁמָה הַצּוֹפֶה?
אַיֵּה הַקָּנוֹנִיִּים וְהַצַּלְיָנִים?
אַיֵּה הַפִּלּוּלִים הַמְּרַחֲשִׁים?
וּבְמִשְׁעוֹל חוּצוֹת; מִקְדַּשׁ מֶלֶךְ ,עִיר יְבוּס ,קָדָשֶׁיהָ יְרוּשָׁלֵם הַמְּקֻדֶּשֶׁת,
הֶהָמוֹן הַנִּרְחָב הַתּוֹעֶה, הַנִּמְלָא גּוּפוֹת מִתַּחַת לִצְרִיפֵיהֶם הַמְּבֻדָּרִים,
רוֹנֵן הַלֵּל לַכֹּתֶל הַמַּעֲרָבִי הַכַּבִּיר,
וְאַיֵּה כִּלְיוֹן הַנֶּפֶשׁ ,דְּבֵקוּת הֶמְיַת הַלֵּב הַחֲצוּבִים בָּרָז שֶׁל כִּמְהוֹן הַנְּשָׁמָה, עִרְגוּן
הָרוֹכְנִים קוֹלָם לְמַעַן שִׁיבַת יִשְׂרָאֵל. הַמְּשִׂיחִים
לָעֵת הַזֹּאת אָנוּ הַמְּקוֹנְנִים בְּדִמְמַת כְּנֵסִיַּת הַקֶּבֶר,
בְּמֶרְחָב שֶׁל יְסוֹד רוּחַ הֶמְיַת עוֹלַם הַלֵּב, הַנָּשׂוּא עֵינָיו בִּתְפִלָּה, אֱמוּנָה וְאַהֲבָה.
אָנוּ הָרַנִּים לְשׁוּבוֹ שֶׁל בַּר זָהַר הַיָּרֵחַ
בַּנְּתִיבִים הַמּוּאָצִים הָרְצִיפִים הַשּׁוֹטְפִים שֶׁל יְרוּשָׁלַיִם, אֲבָנַי הַחוֹמוֹת יָעִידוּ כֹּה.
אָנוּ הָעוֹרְגִים לְתֵל אָבִיב ,חֵיפָה, מֵאֵילַת וְעַד לַצָּפוֹן,
אֻמָּה שֶׁשּׁוֹרְרָה בְּאֶחָד מִן הַיָּמִים כְּפִיּוּט מַקְהֵלָה בְּעֹז בְּמִזְמוֹר הַרְמוֹנִי.
אָנוּ הַכְּמֵהִים לְיַם הַכִּנֶּרֶת, הָעֲדִי שֶׁבַּכֶּתֶר הַתַּכְשִׁיט בַּכֶּתֶר
מְעַיְּנוֹתֶיהָ בּוֹרְקִים, מְעַרְטְלִים כִּפַּת רְקִיעַ הַשָּׁמַיִם הַכְּחֻלִּים, מַשְׁקִיפִים לְכִפַּת
אָנוּ כְּמֵהִים בְּגַעְגּוּעַ לֵב לְמַכְתֵּשׁ רָמוֹן, מוֹפֵת הַנִּשְׁקָף לְנֶגֶד עֵינֵינוּ,
אָנוּ מִתְגַּעְגְּעִים לְחוֹפֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל, שָׁם הִתְאַוְּתָה הִשְׁתַּלְהֲבוּת חוּשֵׁנוּ,
אָנוּ הָעוֹרְגִים לְהָרֵי הַגָּלִיל, הַמְּעַטִּים יָרֹק יָפְיָם,
אָנוּ בְּכִסּוּפִים לְמִדְבַּר הַנֶּגֶב, הַכַּבִּיר, הַפִּרְאִי,
אָנוּ הַכְּמֵהִים לְטֶבַע פָּנֶיךָ יִשְׂרָאֵל ,אֶרֶץ זָבַת חָלָב וּדְבָשׁ ,הָאָרֶץ הַיְּעוּדָה, חַי קֹדֶשׁ עֹגֶן מְסִירוּת הַלֵּב.

,From the seedbed of theologies
.an entrance flies into a distant boulevard
,Amidst the desert’s fluctuating grains
.a blast sleeps near a pile of remnants
A garden of age-old origins now decays
Glooms of dust sit on the coughing shacks
their beaks magnified by the fever
.of the withered aura
?Where are the once-great empires
?Where are the prophets who pronounced devotion and hope
?Where are the saints and the pilgrims
?Where are the prayers we whispered
,Through the lanes of Jerusalem, the holy city
stray hordes oozing with corpses beneath their sporadic shacks
,singing to the Grand Western Wall
,where our devotions and longings are etched
.Vocalizing for the return of Israel
,We now grieve the silence of The Church of Holy Sepulchre
.A zone of faith and love
And we chant for the return of the twinkle moon
.In the freeways of Jerusalem, the walls bear witness
,We miss Tel Aviv to Haifa, from Eilat to the North
.A nation once sang a harmonious chorus
,We miss the Sea of Galilee, an ornament in the headdress
,Her springs glinting, revealing the blue sky
,We miss the Ramon Crater, a miracle we beheld
,We miss the beaches of Israel, where our ecstasy is formed
,We miss the mountains of Galilee, coated in green
,We miss the Negev desert, big and wild
.We miss you Israel, the anchorage of devotions
